Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization in the Oxford, NC area that is seeking a Machine Operator to join its production team. This role supports a critical finishing operation that helps ensure products meet quality and customer standards before shipment. The company offers a team-oriented environment, hands‑on training, and an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced production setting focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around production equipment and finishing processes. This individual will be responsible for operating coating equipment, loading and unloading materials, monitoring production runs, performing quality inspections, and maintaining accurate records. Though training is available for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.
- Operate and monitor automated or semi-automated coating equipment to ensure efficient and consistent production output.
- Load raw materials and parts into the finishing process and remove completed components according to production schedules.
- Inspect finished products for appearance, coverage, and quality standards, identifying and reporting defects or nonconforming items.
- Maintain paint, coating, and related material levels while monitoring equipment performance and reporting operational concerns.
- Complete basic production documentation, including batch information, quantities, and production counts.
- Follow all safety procedures, wear required protective equipment, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with prior manufacturing, finishing, coating, or paint line experience considered a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting, loading, bending, and repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality concerns and follow established work instructions.
- Basic math, counting, and recordkeeping skills needed for production tracking and documentation.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work a four-day, ten-hour shift schedule with early start times.
- Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment, chemicals, and industrial processes while following established safety guidelines.
