Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role helps keep equipment running safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment improvements. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience working with industrial machinery.

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support equipment changeovers, setups, and adjustments.
• Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Read basic schematics and maintenance documentation.
• Follow all safety, quality, and GMP requirements.
• Partner with production teams to maintain efficient operations.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, or relevant technical training.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with production, filling, assembly, or packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve equipment issues.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an active manufacturing environment.

• Experience with welding, motors, conveyors, pumps, or automated equipment.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Technical or trade school education.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.

This is a Permanent position based out of Oxford, NC.

The pay range for this position is $68848.00 - $78520.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Oxford, NC.
