Then at the end of each quarter, a rotating selection committee of employees’ peers chaired by a Lean Champion selects a Gold, Silver and Bronze winner.

These winners will then serve on the selection committee for the following quarter. Thus far there have been over 100 winners.

Key Responsibilities:

The Busbar Operator is responsible for safely setting up, operating, and monitoring a Vaski Busbar Machine to fabricate copper and aluminum busbars according to engineering specifications and production schedules. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to maintain efficient production while adhering to all safety standards.

• Operate the Vaski Busbar Machine to cut, punch, bend, and process busbars according to drawings and work instructions.
• Load raw materials into the machine and unload finished products safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and production documentation.
• Verify dimensions and quality of finished parts using measuring equipment such as calipers, tape measures, squares, and gauges.
