Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer in the Oxford area who is hiring a CNC Screw Machine Setup/Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is a direct-hire opportunity working Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm with occasional Friday overtime.
Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot multi-spindle screw machines to produce precision components
- Develop and adjust tooling layouts, tooling sequences, speeds/feeds, and cycle times
- Set and adjust cams, gears, and mechanical gearing to ensure proper machine operation
- Grind and set form tools, shave tools, drills, cutoffs, and other machining tools
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues to maintain quality and production efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and resolve issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Several years of hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC or multi-spindle screw machines
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, speeds/feeds, and machine setup
- Ability to troubleshoot tooling, machining, and production issues
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Understanding of cams, gears, and mechanical gearing
- Experience grinding and setting various cutting and forming tools
- Mechanical or manufacturing engineering education is a plus Experience with Solid Works or similar engineering/design software is a plus
- Acme-Gridley and/or Davenport multi-spindle screw machine experience a plus
