Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Brantwood Nursing and Rehab, Oxford NC

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in assuring the implementation of the established healthcare plan(s) for a specified number of clients as delegated and supervised by the Registered Nurse (RN). Implementation is limited to the care of clients whose health status would be expected to change only over a period of days and weeks.

• Average Rate of Pay: $31 per hour
• Shift Differentials: $2.50 - $5.00 per hour
• Sign On Bonus Eligible: $10,000 (if full time)

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Holds a current North Carolina license as Practical Nurse. Trained in the standards of DFS, Federal Medicare Regulations & Medicaid Regulations for long term care. Must be able to work under the direction of an RN; follow written or verbal instruction effectively; calculate and administer medications according to Brantwood Nursing Center policies & procedures;

monitor effectively the care of the patient and perform audits to assure adequate care is administered by CNAs. Participate in educational classes, complete educational in-services, update, and maintain professional knowledge and skills related to areas of practice. Position accountable for delivery of patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
