American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with NC or compact licensure for a day shift position requiring ACLS certification and IV start skills.

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital, which is an MS/Tele unit with separate telemetry techs
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Some weekends and holidays required
• Uses MEDITECH EMR (experience not required)

• Active RN license (NC or compact) required at time of consideration, not pending
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only)
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• IV start skills required
• Minimum of 1 year current relevant experience, with documentation of work experience covering 3 years prior to consideration
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Two supervisory references required

• Requests for time off should be kept to a minimum and must be approved by the facility prior to any offer
• Local candidates accepted at the standard rate
