**** Job Description Summary
** The Farmer School of Business Assistant Director of Global Business Programs will provide comprehensive support for FSB Faculty-led study abroad programs. The Assistant Director of Global Business Programs is responsible for marketing and enrollment processes such as: advising students, managing the online application system, FSB Global webpages, preparing visa documents, assisting with pre-departure orientations, and reconciling program expenses. The position works closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for all.
This position has the rewarding experience of regular international travel to various countries in support of programs. Miami University recognizes that technology enables us to find new ways of providing first class service and workplace flexibility. The duties and responsibilities of the position may be completed remotely up to 20% of the time, when the job permits. Full-time work in Oxford, Ohio will be necessary at least 3 days a week.

** Job Description*
* ● Enrollment Support: ○ Develop website program brochures ○ Develop and lead ongoing in-person events (tabling; study abroad fair; info sessions; etc.) and electronic recruiting campaigns (mass email; info Zooms; etc.) ○ Ensure cooperative relationships as liaison with the GLI and other offices as necessary ○ Oversee academic advising and application processes through completion ○ Recruit and train staff support personnel to co-direct winter & summer programs ○ Liaise with program providers throughout the enrollment process as necessary ○ Provide weekly enrollment reports throughout the process
● Travel Expectations: ○ Direct an FSB Summer Internship Program, including BUS 420 instruction ○ Co-direct an FSB winter program ○ Be willing to travel on little notice to support programs in case of emergencies ○ Conduct new program site audits as needed ○ Represent FSB Global at state and regional conferences
● Financial Support: ○ Assist Director to develop preliminary program budgets ○ Develop faculty & staff per diem spend authorizations and p-card applications ○ Reconcile personnel p-cards and program expenses in Workday
● Academic Support: ○ Manage the semester study abroad transfer credit approval process and database ○ Liaise with academic departments as needed
● Other duties as assigned.

**** Minimum Qualifications*
* · Master’s degree from an accredited university
· Three years of experience in international education, academic advising in a college of business, study abroad, or closely related area.
· Extensive domestic and international travel required.
· Must be, or able to become, first aid certified
** Consideration may be given to candidates with:*
* · Master’s degree in international education, student affairs, higher education, business administration, or closely related area from an accredited university.
· Four or more years of experience in the field(s) of international education, student affairs, advising, and/or study abroad.
· Strong program development and program management experience.
· Ability to work independently and productively in an ever-changing fast-paced environment.
· Proven ability to set priorities, exercise initiative and execute projects.
· Detail oriented.
· Team-oriented.
· Fiscal/budget management experience.
· Experience working with diverse populations and cultures.
· Experience studying, living, or working abroad.
