Screening DateJob Description SummaryThe Miami University Center for Career Exploration and Success (CCES) seeks to fill two positions as Employer Relations Coordinator and Assistant Director. The roles focus on growing and managing employer relationships, cultivating internship and job opportunities for all undergraduate and graduate students, and consulting with employers on talent pipeline development.
Essential Duties- Develop new and maintain existing employer relationships, promoting student recruitment through direct contact and technology‑based outreach.
- Collaborate with CCES staff and university divisions (Academics, Advancement, Student Life, Enrollment Management, Student Success) as needed.
- Lead employer relations efforts for assigned career clusters and/or colleges.
- Advising employers on recruiting strategies, brand building, and loyalty initiatives.
- Facilitate student‑employer engagement, including event participation and mentoring opportunities.
- Stay current on recruiting strategies, leveraging appropriate technology, and produce relevant reports.
- Lead and execute short‑term special projects.
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting on recruiting activities, job placements, and salaries.
- Assist in coordinating office‑wide events, programs, workshops, and career fairs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Proven ability to build and nurture internal and external relationships.
- Strong customer service skills, including interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies.
- Familiarity with current employment trends, employer branding strategies, and targeted recruitment principles.
- Ability to leverage and use various software applications.
A Master’s degree is preferred.
