Job Description Summary- Provide safe swimming environment by enforcing rules and policies and responding to aquatic emergencies.
- Work performed at this level is done independently of supervision.
- Requires the highest level of artistic, technical, or scientific expertise.
- Provide supervision to student employees at the Student Master 2 Undergraduate level.
- Work performed at this level is done independently of supervision.
- Provide supervision to student employees at the Student Master 1 Undergraduate level.
- Requires the highest level of artistic, technical, or scientific expertise.
- Perform water rescues including back boarding, passive and active rescues.
- Perform CPR, ventilations and first aid (including inline stabilization, apply ice and bandages).
- Enforce rules and regulations designed for safe use of the Aquatic Center.
- Perform Blood Borne Pathogen cleanup.
- Complete accident and incident reports.
- Provide safe swimming environment by enforcing rules, policies and responding to aquatic emergencies.
- Certified in American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/AED and First Aid or equivalent; training required within 30 days of hiring.
