Coordinator for Program Assessment and Reporting
Takes primary responsibility for the design, coordination, and execution of program assessment for the Miami Integrated Learning Experience (MILE). Because MILE is a new program, this position must think strategically and independently to build the assessment structures, processes, and reporting systems needed to evaluate program effectiveness across all MILE components — including ASC courses, ePortfolio, co-curricular transcript, and HIP participation. Will design assessment instruments, coordinate the annual evidence collection cycle across MILO staff, and produce reports that enable the Director and Assistant Directors to make informed decisions about program quality and improvement.
Will also track and report on key program data — including course enrollments, DFW rates, course evaluation scores, and Civic Literacy outcomes — to support the office's planning and accreditation obligations. As a secondary function, manages office budget and operational support.
Design & Coordinate Program Assessment
- Develop and refine assessment instruments, rubrics, and evidence collection processes for ASC learning outcomes, ePortfolio reflections, and co-curricular transcript engagement, in collaboration with the Director and Assistant Directors
- Coordinate the annual MILE assessment cycle: set timelines, collect evidence from across MILO staff, organize materials, and ensure the cycle is completed on schedule
- Maintain longitudinal assessment records to support year-over-year program improvement and continuous quality review
- Translate assessment findings into clear, accessible reports for the Director, deans, and department chairs
- Serve as MILO's primary liaison to Institutional Research for data requests, dashboard development, and methodological support
Create Reports for Accreditation & Compliance Reporting
- Maintain MILE assessment documentation in formats that meet HLC Assurance Argument and ODHE reporting requirements
- Coordinate the collection and organization of accreditation evidence across MILO staff and ensure submissions are complete and timely
- Track Civic Literacy exam pass/fail rates and make-up exam utilization; produce reports to support compliance monitoring by the Asst Director for Curricular Strategy
- Support the Director in preparing annual reports tracking high-impact practice (HIP) HIP participation reports for deans and department chairs
Program Tracking & Reporting
- Track course offerings, section enrollments, DFW rates, and course evaluation scores for MILE courses, particularly ASCs, and provide regular reports to the Director and Assistant Directors
- Track costs of MILO course staffing and produce ROI reports as requested
- Identify patterns and gaps in program data and flag proactively for Director and Assistant Directors to inform scheduling, forecasting, and faculty development decisions
- Bachelor's degree
- Three years of experience designing or coordinating program assessment in a higher education setting, including developing assessment instruments or rubrics
- Experience producing reports or summaries for administrative or academic decision-makers
- Ability to build assessment and tracking systems independently, without significant supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with higher education or program accreditation processes or comparable regional accreditation frameworks
- Experience with ODHE reporting requirements or other state-level compliance contexts
- Working knowledge of Workday or a comparable ERP system
