Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor to teach multiple sections of BUS 102:
Foundations of Business Communication. Appointment begins August 17, 2026. Multiple positions may be available.

As a FYIC teacher, you will be a part of a faculty who work together as a team to integrate key skills across all four FYIC classes (BUS 101, BUS 102, ESP 103, BUS 104). The course is part of the required First-Year Integrated Core (FYIC) curriculum for all Farmer School of Business majors. The FYIC is a four-course block that teaches students critical skills such as critical, creative, computational, and ethical thinking, as well as coding, communication, and collaboration.

• Ph.D. in rhetoric and writing, communication, or closely related business discipline such as public relations, marketing, management, consulting by appointment date for Visiting Assistant Professor.
• Master’s degree in rhetoric and writing, communication, or closely related business discipline such as public relations, marketing, management, consulting by appointment date for Instructor.

Consideration may be given to candidates with teaching or work experience related to business communications.
