Job Summary

Duties include administering medication, treatments, examinations, and executing regimens as agreed upon between the CNP and the collaborative physician. The CNP or PA provides care for patients using age specific actions and verbalization's; instructs patients and significant others' in care needs; communicates the physicians about care needs/concerns.

Qualifications-Minimum

Has or is eligible to obtain prescriptive authority in nurse practitioner's specialty. Current CPR certification required. 2-3 years experience in practice specialty preferred. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact effectively with patients and families, physicians and office staff. Must demonstrate sensitivity.

Education

RN, MSN, APN Certification in Family Practice, or a combination of Adult and Pediatric Medicine.

License

Current Ohio RN licensure

PRN as needed
