Location: 110 N Poplar St, Oxford, OH 45056

Work Schedule:

• Part Time Nights (24 hours per week)
• 7:00pm - 7:30am
• Every 3rd weekend rotation
• Holiday rotation

Job Requirements:

• BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
• Registered Nurse licensure
• Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle
• Preferred membership in related professional organization
• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire
• Minimum of two years of relevant Labor and Delivery Nursing experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family. Documents assessment per Tri Health guidelines and communicates findings to other health care providers. Includes health counseling and health teaching needs in assessment.
• Plans care for patient and family based on assessment, standards of care, and optimal outcomes. Initiates and individualizes care plans and discharge planning. Communicates plan of care to others.
• Provides a safe, therapeutic environment, maintains patient autonomy and rights, and is sensitive to patient diversity. Balances priorities, recognizes emergencies, and completes patient assignment within scheduled timeframe. Trains/educates other staff and acts as an expert resource in the specialty area.
• Evaluates the plan of care based on outcomes. Documents patient/family response to care and teaching. Collaborates with patient/family and health care team to revise the plan of care as needed. Supervises delegated care.
• Performs technical skills according to policy and procedure. Safely administers medications/treatments and monitors effects. Uses equipment safely and appropriately.
• Demonstrates organizational responsibility: continuous self‑improvement, contributes as requested, maintains knowledge in practice area, and supports changes within the organization.
