Position Overview
We are looking for a self‑motivated entrepreneur to become a Shelter Insurance Agent in Oxford, OH. This role offers the opportunity to build your own agency, generate income through commissions and bonuses, and serve your community. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. No relocation compensation is provided.
Responsibilities- Develop prospects and sell Shelter products to clients.
- Meet sales requirements and core business proficiencies.
- Potentially bring on staff to handle administrative duties and support sales growth.
- Operate as a true business owner, managing expenses such as advertising, telephone, and utilities.
- Motivated, entrepreneurial attitude.
- Excellent communication skills in a sales environment.
- Prior sales experience and a college degree with general business courses are helpful but not required.
- No prior insurance background is necessary; training is provided.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
