Weekend Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a key hands-on role in supporting the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department. This position ensures the delivery of a high-quality, efficient, and responsive housekeeping service across the College. The department operates seven days a week, year-round, providing essential services to both the College community and its external commitments.

The role involves supervising and supporting a designated housekeeping team to ensure high-quality service delivery in line with set schedules and procedures. Key duties include assisting the Housekeeping Manager with meetings, staff inductions, and return-to-work interviews, as well as providing one-to-one training and conducting monthly cleaning audits. The postholder must give feedback to staff, uphold health, safety, and security standards, and assist with events, lettings, and internal moves.

Effective communication with management and other departments is essential, along with resolving staff issues, logging maintenance requests, and tracking jobs scheduled for completion during school holidays.

This is an all year position working 16 hours over Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
