The position is for a Chef at Barchester Healthcare in Oxford, offered on a temporary, casual basis with flexible working hours. The role involves creating seasonal, nutritious, and flavoursome menus, while helping maintain high standards of food preparation without the demands of split shifts. The employee will support the Head Chef in tailoring menus according to resident preferences, engaging in stock control, and conducting regular audits.

The chef will also be responsible for creating a positive environment and working within budget constraints. NEED TO HAVE

A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent Experience in helping lead and inspire a team A good understanding of nutrition Experience of working with fresh seasonal food The ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within our home Good understanding of HACCP
