Job DescriptionWe are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our Front Office team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a warm welcome and delivering exceptional service throughout every stage of the guest journey.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the hotel's property management system.
• Handle reservations, amendments, and cancellations accurately.
• Answer telephone calls, emails, and guest enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts.
• Provide guests with information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
• Resolve guest queries and concerns promptly, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain the reception area to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures, including data protection, health and safety, and security requirements.
What We're Looking For
• Previous experience in a hotel reception or customer service role is desirable but not essential, as full training may be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, positive, and professional approach to customer service.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good computer literacy and confidence using booking or property management systems.
• A flexible approach to working shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A team player with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
