We are looking for an experienced and inspirational General Manager to lead our catering and hospitality operation within a prestigious college environment.

As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the food service operation, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, financial performance, and compliance across the site.

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team across catering, hospitality, and retail services.
• Manage the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the contract.
• Deliver exceptional customer and student experiences.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, labour costs, and financial performance.
• Drive innovation and continuously improve food and service offerings.
• Build strong relationships with college stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and compliance standards are met.
• Support hospitality and special events throughout the academic year.

• Has previous experience as a General Manager, or senior catering/hospitality leader.
• Has a strong financial and commercial understanding.
• Demonstrates exceptional leadership and people development skills.
• Is passionate about food, service, and creating memorable customer experiences.
• Has experience managing large teams and multiple service streams.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities.
• Holds relevant Food Safety and Health & Safety qualifications (desirable)
