ROLE OVERVIEW

Are you a passionate Synthetic Chemist looking to make a significant impact in the field of clean technology? This is your chance to join a pioneering company based in the Oxfordshire area. As a Synthetic Chemist, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of innovative surface-treatment chemistries, contributing to a cleaner and greener world.

• Conduct practical, lab-based R&D to support both existing and new product development programmes.
• Design and develop synthetic routes to novel surface-treatment chemistries, including synthesis, isolation, purification, and characterisation.
• Optimise reaction conditions to enhance yield, selectivity, reproducibility, and scalability.
• Evaluate and interpret experimental results to guide further development and identify new opportunities.

• Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Chemistry with proven industry experience.
• Practical experience in organic synthesis or wet chemistry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and spoken.
