Basic Salary: 48,656.73 (Including Standby Payment)
With paid travel time, overtime, and a 1-in-4 call-out rota (Double Time weekends / Time and a Half weekdays), earnings are realistically circa 60,000 per year.

The Role

We are recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to support a major UK supermarket contract across Oxford.

You will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and servicing across a range of commercial HVAC systems in retail environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
  • Service and repair boilers, pumps, fans, AHUs and FCUs
  • Complete minor installations and alterations
  • Fault-find and report non-repairable issues with recommendations
  • Order parts in line with procedures
  • Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
Essential Requirements
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in HVAC or equivalent
  • ACS Commercial Gas (COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1/1A)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience in commercial PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Ability to work at height and in confined spaces
  • PDA/mobile system experience
Desirable
  • Domestic ACS (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1)
  • F-Gas Category 1 (2079)
  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
Call-Out Rota
  • 1-in-4 on-call rota
  • Double Time weekends
  • Time and a Half weekdays
