Electrical Technician

Location: Oxfordshire

We're currently supporting a long‑term project in Oxfordshire, and our client is looking to bring several Electrical Technicians on board. These roles are offered on a contract basis and form part of a multi‑year technical installation programme

Below are the details:

Location:

Oxfordshire
Rate: £30 - £35 p/h (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)
Duration:
Initial 6‑month contract with strong long‑term potential

Key Requirements:

ONC or City & Guilds Level 2 / GNVQ in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Strong experience in testing, fault‑finding and calibration of electrical systems
Good understanding of electrical safety practices for LV and HV low‑power circuits and devices
Hands‑on experience with installation, commissioning and fault‑finding of electrical systems, including:
Control racks
Interconnecting wiring
Field equipment
Cable containment systems
Skilled in electrical wiring for panels and equipment enclosures
Competent in light mechanical and electrical assembly tasks such as:
Soldering
Crimping
Cable assembly
Rack wiring
