Plumbing Maintenance Engineer

Oxford

£36,500 + Standby Allowance + Generous Pension Scheme + 33 Days Leave + Extra Closure Days + Monday to Friday (37 Hours)

Are you a qualified Plumber with Gas certification and a background in maintenance or facilities services?

Spanning a diverse estate of teaching spaces, residential buildings, and commercial areas, the maintenance team plays an essential role in ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all users.

In this role, you will be responsible for both scheduled and reactive maintenance on plumbing, heating, gas, and ventilation systems. You will also assist with minor installations and refurbishment tasks, working within a skilled and supportive estates team. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with a light on-call requirement.

The successful candidate will have a background in plumbing or mechanical services, with proven experience in maintenance environments. You will hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, be Gas Safe registered, and ideally have experience working within larger commercial or public sector sites.

The Role:
  • Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on plumbing and gas systems
  • Assist with minor installations, upgrades, and maintenance projects
  • Work across a varied and well-maintained estate
  • Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week with limited on-call duties
The Person :
  • Level 3 qualification in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Gas Safe registration
  • Experience with in facilities or building maintenance environments
  • Full UK driving licence
