Overview
Planet Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the colleges in Oxford who are looking for a maintenance handyperson. This role is available to start as soon as possible and will be long term.
Responsibilities- Carry out minor plumbing repairs to heating and hot and cold-water systems.
- Perform basic carpentry to door, window or furniture repairs.
- Replace faulty white goods and appliances.
- General painting and replacement of kitchen units.
- Clear blocked drains and carry out routine maintenance tasks.
- Fire alarm testing and checks on lifts and elevators.
- Travel between college sites as required; a full driving licence would be advantageous.
- Current working hours are 40 hours per week.
- Benefit from free meals and uniform.
