Location:

John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford

Hours:

40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday

Duration: up to 60 months to complete full apprenticeship

Salary: £12.71 p/h

• Support the Estates Management in the provision of a 24 hour maintenance service within the Oxford John Radcliffe hospital.
• Assist in completion of PPM’s and remedials on various electrical and mechanical hospital equipment such as, but not limited to, RCD’s, RCBO, transformers, Emergency Lighting, and Motors.
• Learn to maintain and repair electrical systems that keep the hospital running safely — from emergency lighting to motors and transformers.
• Work alongside experienced professionals, helping with planned maintenance and fixing equipment.
• Develop practical skills through hands‑on experience with high and low voltage systems in a real healthcare environment.
• Gain knowledge about important health and safety standards while providing top‑n ot service to both hospital staff and patients.
• Take on new challenges and grow your expertise, with plenty of training and support along the way.
• Involves attendance at a local college one day per week with 4 days working on site

• Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above including Maths, English, and Science.
