Rygor Auto is looking for an HGV Technician who will be a team player and ensure customers’ vehicles stay on the road through quality, safe and compliant maintenance.
QualificationsLevel 3 (NVQ, City and Guilds or IMI) qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance is required. The candidate must be able to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with DVSA standards and possess a current, full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes.
Responsibilities- Perform major and minor repairs to vehicles.
- Conduct regular inspections and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes.
- Maintain workshop inventory and keep the area clean from oil spills and dust.
- Collaborate with repair teams to diagnose and plan repairs for vehicles.
- Keep records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled.
- Provide repair services to clients on the road in emergencies.
- Complete relevant documentation and paperwork, including warranty claims or escalations to higher management.
- Deliver in‑house training to recruits and trainees.
- Extra day off for birthday.
- Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5 times the basic hourly rate.

Pay: £18‑£19 per hour, DOE. OTE up to £43,500.
