AC Installation Engineer – £50,000+ M4

As an AC Installation Engineer – £50,000+ – Oxford/M4, you will join a well-established mechanical and electrical contractor with over two decades of industry experience. Based in Oxford, this permanent position involves installing air conditioning systems across premium commercial sites, including offices and specialist facilities. You will become the seventh member of a dedicated installation crew, handling high-end projects throughout the M4 corridor.

The role offers a salary between £45,000 and £50,000, dependent on experience, alongside a company van with private use, a fuel card, paid travel, and overtime at 2.5x the standard rate.

You will be working as part of an established commercial AC installation team, covering projects across the Oxford, Swindon, Reading and wider M4 corridor, with work also extending towards Bristol and Southampton and occasional London projects.

• ££ £45,000–£46,000 – AC-biased engineers
• ££ £48,000–£50,000+ – Multi-skilled engineers

• ££ Travel paid from leaving home in the morning

The call-out rota is 1 in 6 and is described as relatively quiet, with call-outs required only occasionally. When called out, engineers receive 2.5x overtime, with a minimum four-hour payment. There is also additional overtime available during the working week at enhanced rates.
