Live with 45mins travel from Oxford Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 FTE based on experience

Solar are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join the UKs largest and most successful Solar PV installer (who were recently invested in by EON) as a Solar PV Electrician, based in Oxford, with regular travel to sites required. This role offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality solar PV installations and supporting the continued growth of renewable energy.

About

the role

The role of the Solar PV Electrician is to install, test, commission, maintain and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems across residential and commercial. You will play a key role in delivering safe and efficient solar installations, using your knowledge of electrical systems, renewable energy technologies and health and safety requirements to ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and regulations.

You will be responsible for managing the full installation process, installing inverters and associated equipment through to completing electrical connections, system testing and commissioning. The role also includes carrying out routine maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs to ensure solar PV systems continue to operate safely, efficiently and at optimum performance.

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Solar PV Installation Engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality work. You will have a practical mindset, strong attention to detail and the ability to complete installations safely and efficiently.

You will be organised, able to manage your workload effectively and confident adapting to changing priorities. You will have a willingness to learn and a commitment to improving processes and ways of working. Ability to communicate clearly and provide a professional service at all times. You will take ownership of your work and be committed to achieving excellent results.
