Mechanical & Pump Service Engineer

Are you an experienced Pump or Mechanical Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role with excellent overtime opportunities? We're recruiting for a skilled Engineer to carry out service, maintenance, overhaul and repair work on pumps, motors and rotating equipment across the local area, typically within a 50-mile radius.

The Role
· Service, repair and overhaul pumps, motors, fans and rotating equipment
· Replace bearings, mechanical seals and complete units
· Maintain sewage pumping stations and associated equipment
· Fault-find on mechanical and electrical systems
· Work directly with customers and site representatives
· Occasional working at height and in confined spaces, training provided for this
· Overtime and call-out available at premium rates You'll Have 5 years' pump overhaul experience 5 years' motor overhaul experience Good knowledge of pumps, motors, inverters and electrical systems Understanding of electrical panels and controls Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Full UK driving licence Comfortable travelling locally and working on customer sites The Package £35,000-£45,000 Premium-rate overtime & call-outs Company van 25 days' holiday & bank holidays Ongoing training and development Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:30 / Friday 8:00-3:30 Free / on-site parking Canteen facilities If you're an experienced engineer who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem solving and variety, this is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with long-term prospects.
