We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Permanent Audit Senior to join our Assurance & Advisory team in the Accounting + Finance industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute their expertise to a thriving team and play a pivotal role in the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and tax review processes.

This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with GAAP and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their professional development.
• Collaborate with the audit team to identify and understand client needs and provide tailored advisory services.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, participating actively in business development initiatives to expand the firm's client base.
• Conduct complex tax reviews, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports to management, highlighting any issues and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in accounting and tax laws to ensure the company's practices remain compliant and efficient.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred, or working to obtain their license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting auditing, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
• In-depth knowledge of tax review processes and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
