Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $38 to $40 per hour.

Summary:
Work with CFO and Controller to support accounting functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Assist with grower accounting
• Assist with inventory management and cost accounting
• Intercompany transactions
• Analyze prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, fixed assets and other GL accounts
• Adjusting journal entries
• Review AR billing and AP batches
• Prepare daily bank activity reports
• Prepare various spreadsheets for the operations team
• Assist with month-end close, financial reporting and year-end review
• Other accounting related tasks as necessary

Education and/or Experience

• At least 5 years' experience as full charge bookkeeper or staff accountant
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Technology savvy with fluency in MS Office and accounting related software
• Paperless environment experience preferred
• Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and responsibility
