Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Review of general ledger and reconciliations - identify errors and arrange for action
- Reconcile general ledger and sub ledgers and prepare necessary corrections
- Review, approve and post monthly Journal Entries in General Ledger
- Prepare and maintain financial schedules
- Research and resolve technical accounting issues
- Conduct complex analyses and prepare detail and summary financial reports
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and applications of accounting principles
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Accuracy/precision in math, strong analytical skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of 5 year's accounting operations experience preferably with a health plan organization.
- Experience in community/primary healthcare a plus
- Audit and Financial Reporting experience
