• Demonstrated knowledge of current tax laws
• Must be open to hybrid work
• Proficiency in computer tax preparation, tax research, and tax planning software
• Occasional overtime required throughout the year; heavy overtime from January 1 to April 15, possibly exceeding 55 hours per week
• 7‑10 years’ experience in public accounting with progression in tax complexity, scope, and research
• 2+ years’ experience representing clients before taxing authorities
• 1+ year experience supervising and directing tax preparers
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; master’s degree in taxation preferred
• Minimum of forty hours of continuing education required each year
• Current and valid certified public accountant’s license
• Member in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs
