Accounting Clerk

Location:

Oxnard, CA

Pay: $22-25/hr DOE

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic accounting experience and be comfortable working with invoices, payments, data entry, and account records.

• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Basic understanding of AP, AR, and accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Process invoices, payments, and accounting transactions
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain accounting records
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Match invoices and purchase orders
• Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies
• Assist with billing, collections, and cash applications as needed
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding account questions
• Perform other general accounting and administrative duties as needed.
