Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an onsite Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for a leading manufacturer located in Oxnard, CA with experience supporting total integrated facilities. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, have excellent interpersonal skills, and must enjoy working with clients, vendors and the coordinator team to achieve excellent customer service.

What You'll Do
  • Assist the team with vendor management, selection, and onboarding.
  • Approach all work aspects with safety as the highest priority, ensuring OSHA regulations are followed.
  • Handle routine facilities operations by procuring supplies and services, assigning work orders in CMMS, and communicating as liaison between vendors and the client.
  • Obtain accurate proposals, issue purchase orders with NTE, monitor work completion, obtain work completion paperwork, and final receipt in CMMS for invoicing.
  • Manage work control status and backlog for work order submission to completion. Status may include waiting for planning, waiting parts, ready to schedule, scheduled, etc.
  • Actively participate in scheduling meetings with partners to finalize work order priority.
  • Assist manager with hiring, training, and onboarding processes.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System and capability to create queries and reports; preferred experience with Maximo CMMS.
  • Experience with Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word (Microsoft Office).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
