Position Summary

We are seeking a senior-level, talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our Creative team, supporting both branded and private label packaging initiatives. This is a hands‑on packaging and label production role, not a digital, social media, or marketing-only design role. This role is responsible not only for developing compelling packaging designs, but also for coordinating the label approval process from concept through final print production.

This position plays a critical role in launching new products by working cross‑functionally with QA, Regulatory, Commercialization, Sales, customers, and printers to ensure packaging artwork is accurate, compliant, and delivered on schedule.

The ideal candidate combines strong creative skills with excellent organizational abilities and deep production knowledge and is comfortable managing multiple packaging projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with minimal oversight.

Position Responsibilities
  • Design and develop food packaging and labeling, including labels, cartons, pouches, shrink sleeves, and merchandising materials
  • Ensure all packaging complies with FDA labeling requirements including nutrition facts, ingredient statements, allergen declarations, and regulatory elements
  • Prepare production‑ready artwork and manage revisions through the print process
  • Create mockups, renderings, and presentations for internal and customer reviews
  • Manage packaging artwork projects from concept through final approval and release to print
  • Coordinate the internal label approval process with QA, Regulatory, Commercialization, and Sales teams
  • Review customer artwork submissions for compliance with regulatory and brand standards
  • Communicate directly with printers and vendors to manage proofs, revisions, and production timelines
  • Track project progress, approvals, and file releases to support successful product launches
  • Maintain organized archives of final artwork and packaging documentation
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure packaging aligns with brand standards and product requirements
  • Support commercialization timelines and new product launches
  • Assist in troubleshooting packaging or print issues when needed
  • Participate in creative reviews and contribute ideas to improve packaging and processes
  • Develop marketing collateral, sales materials, and merchandising graphics as needed
  • Create product renderings, mockups, and visual presentations
  • Assist with photography and image editing when required
Position Requirements
  • 5+ years of packaging graphic design experience, preferably in food, cosmetics, or similar CPG categories.
  • Strong packaging and production experience with print-ready file preparation
  • Solid understanding of FDA food labeling requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Strong typography, layout, and design skills
  • Experience working with printers and reviewing print proofs
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
