Position: RV Park Host INT – 6739

Announcement: 6739

Position: RV Park Host (Intermittent – 0 to 19 hours per week) – Salary $20.38 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the on‑site RV Park Host supporting day‑to‑day operations of a Coast Guard MWR RV Park.
  • Report directly to the MWR Director or designated Command representative.
  • Work independently on routine tasks and refer issues outside scope to appropriate personnel.
  • Provide guest services, monitor occupancy, and assist patrons during check‑in and check‑out.
  • Communicate with maintenance and unit staff and collect payments when necessary.
  • Work under general supervision, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and text.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other basic office software.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism when engaging with guests and unit personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience operating or managing RV parks or campgrounds.
  • Knowledge of RV systems and basic troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Coast Guard MWR policies or military lodging standards.
  • Skill in identifying and communicating maintenance or safety issues.

  • Residency Requirements:
