Position: RV Park Host (Intermittent – 0 to 19 hours per week) – Salary $20.38 per hour.

• Serve as the on‑site RV Park Host supporting day‑to‑day operations of a Coast Guard MWR RV Park.
• Report directly to the MWR Director or designated Command representative.
• Work independently on routine tasks and refer issues outside scope to appropriate personnel.
• Provide guest services, monitor occupancy, and assist patrons during check‑in and check‑out.
• Communicate with maintenance and unit staff and collect payments when necessary.
• Work under general supervision, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and text.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other basic office software.
• Ability to maintain professionalism when engaging with guests and unit personnel.

• Prior experience operating or managing RV parks or campgrounds.
• Knowledge of RV systems and basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Coast Guard MWR policies or military lodging standards.
• Skill in identifying and communicating maintenance or safety issues.

• Must satisfactorily complete a federal background check and all applicable pre‑employment requirements (security clearances, drug testing, verification of employment history, etc.).

• Residency Requirements:
  Non‑U.S. nationals authorized to work in the U.S. and applying for any DHS position must have resided within the United States or U.S. territories for at least three of the last five years.
