Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assist in training and developing staff.
  • Assist in member service oversight, ensuring staff provide great customer experience.
  • Perform front desk tasks: answering phone calls politely, taking information calls, checking members in and out, sign‑ups, cancellations, updating member accounts.
  • Provide gym tours to potential members.
  • Address member service issues and questions.
  • Assist with team member management and provide backup support to the Club Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain a positive club image.
  • Oversee cleanliness and appearance of gym.
  • Assist in managing marketing efforts; ensure team awareness and training on current promotions.
  • Order supplies, maintain inventory, track reports as needed.
Essential Behavior Requirements
  • Deliver customer service that exceeds customers’ wants and needs.
  • Listen actively, empathize, and work collaboratively to solve problems.
  • Identify and define problems, analyze information, propose solutions, seek assistance when needed.

  • Maintain timely communication with team members and supervisors to enhance productivity and prevent misunderstandings.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Honesty and strong work ethic.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift.
  • Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time.

Compensation

$17.20 - $18.00 per hour
