Sugarbug is hiring Dental Reception / Administration

Sugarbug Dental & Orthodontics is an established Pediatric Dental and Orthodontic practice that has been serving the county of Ventura for over 10 years, just a short drive from the ocean in the city of Oxnard, CA. In early 2021, Sugarbug is currently looking for Dental Reception / Administration personnel to join our practice.

This position requires dedication to the intake of patients to deliver quality oral health care for children, a caring and compassionate nature and commitment to becoming an integral part of Sugarbug’s oral health care team. Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

• Greet patients with a smile
• Engage and interact with the public
• Interact with children in the reception area
• Create accounts for new patients
• Ensure patient information is accurate
• Verify patient eligibility
• Coordinate patient flow and notify back staff when patients arrive
• Confirm patient’s appointment
• Maintain front office clean at all times
• Check messages (email and phone)
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's in Communication, Sociology, Psychology or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) (preferred but not mandatory)
• Compensation: 31-54k yearly range based on hourly pay and experience and education
