About the Program:

The Department of Anthropology at CSU Channel Islands imparts students with broad anthropological knowledge aimed at developing their critical thinking skills, allowing them to address contemporary issues and engage in multiple professional and academic careers. Anthropology faculty members collaborate with different institutions and agencies in the region including National and State Parks, public schools, and non‑profit organizations, creating diverse learning opportunities for our students.

About the Position:

The Department of Anthropology at California State University Channel Islands is seeking qualified applicants for its lecturer faculty pool. Positions may become available to teach undergraduate lecture, laboratory, or field courses in any subfield of anthropology, with particular interest in candidates with expertise in archaeology, bioanthropology, and sociocultural anthropology.
