As an Extended Learning Time Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing after-school and extended learning programs through the Leader in Me (LIM) framework.
This dynamic position allows you to foster student growth, leadership, and engagement while mentoring staff and after-care providers. You will collaborate with educators and administrators to design effective extended learning initiatives that align with district objectives. By providing training, coaching, and support, you will help schools develop engaging, student-centered environments that enhance leadership skills and improve educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging professional development workshops focused on student leadership, behavioral strategies, and instructional best practices.
- Facilitate afternoon workshops and lead Saturday professional development sessions tailored to align with LIM content.
- Provide coaching and support to site coordinators and after-care providers to ensure alignment with Leader in Me principles.
- Conduct weekly strategy meetings with stakeholders to address challenges and discuss program updates.
- Use technology platforms for communication, data tracking, and reporting to manage program logistics effectively.
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience in K-12 Education
- 1+ years of experience in instructional training or group facilitation.
- K-12 Education Credential
- Experience with the Leader in Me program
- Background in extended learning and OST programs
- Expertise in classroom management and engagement strategies
- Strong communication skills for training and mentoring
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- High energy, patience, and professionalism
- Proficient in technology platforms and virtual learning tools
- Passionate about educational leadership and student success
This role requires a nontraditional full-time work schedule consisting of afternoons Monday through Friday, along with Saturday training and workshops.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $87,500-$139,400, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, employee stock purchasing plan, 401(k), PTO, holiday pay, and more.
