As the Manufacturing Engineer Manager at PTI Technologies, you will supervise a dynamic team of Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians, providing essential leadership and technical expertise. You will spearhead the development of cost-effective manufacturing methods while ensuring product quality and process safety. In this role, you'll act as a project manager, guiding your team in implementing innovative process improvements.
Engaging in Lean Manufacturing initiatives, you will enhance productivity across the organization. Your responsibilities will include preparing personnel evaluations, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining compliance with NADCAP processes. You will also create and maintain critical documentation, lead Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA), and mentor junior engineers on best practices.

To excel as the Manufacturing Engineer Manager at PTI Technologies, you must possess a robust foundation in manufacturing methods development and troubleshooting process-related issues. An expert-level understanding of project management, paired with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and 15+ years of manufacturing experience, is essential. Familiarity with software tools such as Oracle MRP, Smar Team, and Solid Works is preferred, along with strong language skills for effective communication and reporting.
Mathematical proficiency in concepts like probability, geometry, and statistics is necessary for data analysis and decision-making. You'll need to exhibit strong reasoning abilities to define project criteria and ensure successful outcomes.
Supervisory responsibility includes planning and coordinating work assignments for lower-level engineers, making leadership skills crucial. The physical demands of the role require regular handling and manipulation of equipment, alongside the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. A commitment to safety and quality in a dynamic work environment is paramount for success.
