Active Security Clearance required.
The role will develop and improve manufacturing processes and systems to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of defense and aerospace products. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while meeting industry standards such as AS9100, ITAR, and NADCAP.

- Collaborate with design engineers, production personnel, and quality assurance to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of high‑quality, reliable, advanced products.
- Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions to meet specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure producibility and manufacturability of new products.
- Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Evaluate manufacturing equipment and technologies, recommend suitable options, and oversee integration into production lines.
- Ensure equipment meets industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
- Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives, driving cost reduction, waste elimination, and quality improvements.
- Collaborate with the quality team to establish and maintain quality control procedures.
- Resolve production‑related quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials, components, and equipment.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and performance to support schedules and quality requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including process specifications, SOPs, and engineering change orders.
- Generate reports on KPIs, production metrics, and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, identifying hazards and mitigating risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Active security clearance.
- Previous experience in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in defense or aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies (CNC machining, additive manufacturing, assembly, testing).
- Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, NADCAP and proficiency in CAD/CAM for process development and optimization.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to analyze complex data.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience.
Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and reliability.
