Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer III to design, develop, test, and maintain electronic hardware for advanced CNC control systems. In this role, you will work under the guidance of senior engineering leadership to create innovative solutions, analyze system performance, and enhance product reliability. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze technical problems, define requirements, and develop effective engineering solutions.
- Design and simulate schematics that meet system specifications and industry best practices.
- Develop detailed technical documentation and supporting diagrams.
- Investigate product failures, analyze data, and recommend design improvements.
- Design and develop electronic hardware at the board level.
- Evaluate competing designs and select optimal solutions.
- Recommend workflow and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering peers and cross-functional teams.
- Follow established procedures and escalate issues affecting quality or productivity.
- Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of board-level electronic design experience.
- Proficiency in schematic design tools such as Altium or PADS
. - Active experience in electronics hardware design.
- Understanding of firmware and its interaction with hardware systems.
- Experience with SPICE-based simulation tools.
- Exposure to PCB layout and hardware-firmware integration.
- Experience defining electronic component specifications.
- Knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, and general electronics (power electronics exposure preferred).
- Proficiency using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and current probes.
- Strong technical communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with source control systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and recommend solutions.
- Travel requirement: 0-5%.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited four-year institution, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
