  • Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Part-time (20-30 hours/week) may be considered initially, with potential to ramp up to full-time
Position Overview

Medix is seeking a Registered Nurse for a new program in Oxnard, CA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys structured, patient-facing work, learning new technology, and being part of an innovative behavioral health program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Psychiatrist during TMS treatment sessions using Brains Way technology
  • Prepare patients for TMS sessions, including positioning and placement of the treatment helmet
  • Remain in the room with the patient throughout each treatment session to monitor comfort and safety
  • Support mapping sessions and accurately record treatment parameters and data
  • Perform and document patient vitals approximately once per week during the course of treatment
  • Provide reassurance, education, and support to patients receiving frequent treatments (5 days per week)
  • Maintain accurate documentation per program and clinic standards
  • Participate in initial training on TMS equipment and protocols
  • Demonstrate flexibility as the program continues to grow and workflows evolve
  • During downtime, observe and support operations within the North Oxnard Adult Clinic to learn county workflows and patient flow
Required Qualifications
  • Active California RN license
  • Comfort working with behavioral health populations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual Spanish (preferred, not required)
  • Interest in innovative or emerging behavioral health treatments
  • Comfort working closely with a Psychiatrist in a team-based model
