A full-time Speech‑Language Pathology opportunity is available in Oxnard, CA, assisting students in a school setting. This contract position runs through the end of the school year (EOSY) with potential for extension, ideal for professionals who want to provide essential compensatory speech services to support students requiring additional speech and language intervention.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to school‑age students, addressing individualized educational needs.
- Provide compensatory speech services to support students whose services are backlogged.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress in compliance with school policies.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as necessary to reach students remotely.
- Supervise and collaborate with a Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) when available.
- Certification as a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility.
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy within educational or healthcare settings.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery models.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working with SLPAs, particularly in school or healthcare environments.
