Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Oxnard, California

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or CFY)
• Current California SLP license or eligibility
• Experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare environments
• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and practices
• School-based or healthcare support experience for SLPAs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfort working with preschool populations and collaborating with families
• Flexibility to work across different school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to preschool students
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations and progress
• Collaborate closely with another SLP and multidisciplinary teams (including OT professionals)
• Deliver services in person and potentially through teletherapy platforms
• Participate in IEP meetings and family consultations
• Support and mentor SLPA staff, as needed
