IT / Technical Support Project Specialist
Pay: $25–27/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Oxnard
On-site with travel to multiple local sites as needed
Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands‑on, technically skilled IT / Technical Support Project Specialist to support a large‑scale workstation deconstruction and reconfiguration project, along with additional upcoming site projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, technical work and takes pride in clean, organized workstation setups.
The immediate project involves reconfiguring workstations due to flooring repairs on the second floor of a facility. Additional projects will include setting up workstations at new sites and buildings.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Deconstruct and tear down workstations and cubicles in phases (2–3 days of teardown per section).
- Reconfigure furniture and complete basic repairs as needed.
- Reinstall workstations, cabling, and equipment once cubicles are reset.
- Work through the project in organized sections to maintain a clean, professional setup.
- Support additional projects, including workstation setups at new sites and buildings.
- Provide basic desktop support and technical assistance (software issues, service calls, general IT support) when needed.
- Hands‑on experience setting up and tearing down workstations or cubicle environments.
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with hardware, cabling, and office equipment.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving furniture, and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and a clean driving record (required for travel to other sites).
- Experience providing desktop support or responding to IT service calls.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting basic software and hardware issues.
- Prior experience supporting multi‑site projects or office moves.
