Job Title

NAM Market Development Planner

Responsibilities
  • Process and execute inventory to meet pre‑commercial needs of NAM subregions and Market Development.
  • Coordinate efforts with Supply Planning, Customer Service, and other functions as needed.
  • Oversee inventory levels and quality features for supported crops and segments to ensure heightened customer service.
  • Responsible for supply processes for pre‑commercial and Market.
  • Execute Ship as Basic and PUSH to Marketable plans, including pull processes and moving seed from marketable to MTO/MTS to the DC, manufacturing or customer.
  • Execute the supply plan for the Unit focusing on Consensus Forecast and support other squads when needed.
  • Identify and resolve supply constraints and/or exceptions via the supply planning escalation methodology.
  • Develop, manage and execute the replenishment plan for the assigned squad to support sales targets.
  • Create and communicate week‑by‑week Near‑Term replenishment (treat & pack) plans to cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Measure progress against the plan and manage exceptions against established forward coverage targets.
  • Communicate within the S&OP process, informing business of supply plans, potential issues and scenario management to support reliable supply.
  • Collaborate with S&OE coordination, actively participate in weekly S&OE meetings, share supply information and secure business priorities.
  • Work closely with Trade and Compliance, Regulatory, Supply Fiend Sales Reps, Unit Leads and Plant Operations to execute inventory positioning plans effectively.
  • Monitor seed entering PP1 and PP2, prioritize & send RCCP to site, finish push processes, and manage inventory including up‑grade plans.
  • Collaborate with Future Year Planner and Regional Plant Planner on Rough‑Cut Capacity Plans to ensure PUSH plan execution; work with MEX to plan and execute PUSH to Marketable processes.
  • Manage obsolescence and analyze pain points with Future Year Planner; lead Deterioration & Obsolescence actions (write‑offs, medium and bad quality management).
  • Assist in localized allocation inputs to drive Revenue at Risk decisions and ensure prioritization/up‑grade decisions are completed.
  • Provide continuous improvement feedback on related business processes and participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Adjust plans based on business needs using decision logic within PS planning horizons.
  • Handle phyto checks and ship‑as‑basic interval validation to ensure seed inspection criteria are met for processing.
  • Analyze batch phytosanitary attributes vs intended demand country requirements; generate lab test request signals.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to influence peers and leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field.
  • Capable of working effectively with teams and networks across geographic, functional and organizational boundaries.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field with 2+ years of related experience in business functions or any Supply Chain Management role.
  • Excellent decision and problem‑solving skills.
  • Background in data, analytics and applied statistical knowledge.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, team‑based environment.
Additional Information
  • No relocation will be offered.
  • Salary range: $63,040.00 – $94,560.00.
  • Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
