Planner, Supply Chain​/Logistics, Logistics Coordination

Bayer is seeking a Current Year Planner to support the execution of supply chain activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.

• Manage execution of Ship as Basic & PUSH to Marketable plan while balancing available capacity and requirements.
• Prioritize signals in PP1 (local push, ship-as-basic outbound).
• Monitor seed coming into PP2, prioritize & send RCCP to site, finish push process to make seed marketable, manage inventory including upgrading plans.
• Move Push inventory to MRKT state while adhering to product specifications (within 12 months).
• Collaborate with Future Year Planner and Regional Plant Planner on Rough-Cut Capacity Plan to ensure execution of PUSH plan.
• Plan and execute PUSH to Marketable process with MEX.
• Optimize localized resources, capacity and processing requirements to transition PUSH plan to marketable inventory.
• Collaborate with Future Year Planner to manage obsolescence and analyze pain points, lead Deterioration and Obsolescence actions within plants.
• Partner with local Near‑Term Planner on handoffs from PUSH to PULL planning process and leverage replenishment strategy linkages.
• Collaborate on localized allocation inputs necessary to drive Revenue at Risk decisions, ensuring local prioritization or upgrading decisions are completed.
• Identify and resolve supply constraints/exceptions via the supply planning escalation methodology.
• Validate Ship as Basic stage – ensure seed inspection criteria are met before moving to next processing country & destination.
• Analyze batch phytosanitary attributes vs intended demand country requirements for Push to Marketable; generate lab test request signal.
• Check supply/demand matching of phytosanitary requirements with NT Planner, request additional testing if needed.
• Provide continuous improvement feedback and participate in improvement projects.
• Collaborate/liaison with S&O Process to provide/receive inputs impacting Harvest, Treat, Pack, Transportation, etc.
• Adjust plans based on business needs using decision logic within PS planning horizons.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field.
• Strong communication skills, including influencing peers and leaders.
• Ability to make tough effective decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent decision and problem‑solving skills.
• Background in data, analytics and applied statistics.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, team‑based, matrix environment.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

• 4+ years of related experience in business functions or any SCM role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and Spotfire.

Employees can expect a salary between $63,040.00 and $94,560.00. Additional compensation may include bonus or commission if relevant. Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave.
