Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Buyer with a strong background in purchasing within the manufacturing sector. This role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience and involves working collaboratively in a team of buyers to manage purchase orders, plan raw materials, handle POs, and maintain supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

+ Manage purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials.

+ Plan and coordinate raw material requirements.

+ Collaborate with team members to support purchasing activities.

+ Maintain and develop strong relationships with suppliers.

+ Utilize ERP systems to track inventory and manage procurement processes.

+ Monitor and analyze purchasing activities to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing within a manufacturing environment.

+ Proficiency in managing purchase orders and procurement processes.

+

Experience with ERP systems for inventory management.

+ Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

+ Solid understanding of supply chain management.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in an office environment, with working hours from Monday to Friday. It offers a long-term contract opportunity to support the team during a period of implementation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Oxnard, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
